According to their blog the Playstation 4 update, 1.7, has been released as of April 30 and the exciting new update includes a new feature, SHAREfactory amongst other notable improvements. As gamers have been taking increasingly to YouTube to put up videos of playthrough and exciting replays console makers (notably Xbox and Playstation) have responded in kind by enhancing player’s ability to record their experiences. Not long ago we reported about how Xbox teamed up with gamer broadcast service Twitch.io that broke game broadcasting records. This time round Sony has released its own game broadcasting software SHAREfactory that will allow players to record their experiences and share them on various social media sites. It differs from twitch in the software is a veritable video editing switch giving users more control than over how the content looks and will allow for some interesting ideas.
Other improvements have also included Automatic Pre-download, more camera commands and new dualshock option including a dimmer.
